Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on August 2026.
UPA (“University Polo Argentina”, “we,” “us”) is committed to making argentinapolo.university reasonably accessible to visitors browsing with assistive technology. As a small, early-stage operation, we recognise that accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.
What web accessibility is
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities, such as visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments, to browse and use the site with a similar level of ease as any other visitor, whether using a standard browser or assistive technology such as a screen reader.
Accessibility on This Site
Built on the Wix platform, we have:
-
Set the language of the site
-
Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
-
Added alternative text to key images
-
Implemented colour combinations that meet the standard contrast guidelines
-
Limited unnecessary motion and animation
-
Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
We have not yet completed a formal WCAG conformance audit. We intend to run the Wix Accessibility Wizard and update this statement with a specific conformance level once that review is complete, rather than claim a level we haven't verified.
We are aware that no website is perfectly accessible to all users at all times. If you encounter any content, feature, or page on our site that is difficult to access or use, we want to know about it.
Known limitations
A note on the nature of our program
UPA's programme is a physical, on-horseback polo experience, and by its nature is designed for participants who are willing and able to play, or to enjoy the experience primarily through watching and being present at the club. While we are committed to making our website itself as accessible as we reasonably can, we recognise that the underlying activity has inherent physical requirements that cannot be fully accommodated for all visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments. We're happy to discuss individual circumstances directly, but want to be upfront that our efforts here relate to the accessibility of our website and communications, not a guarantee that the website accessibility itself can be adapted to every need.
